Independent Furniture Supply began in 1977 in Tupelo, Mississippi as a Foam Fabrication Company ? cutting polyurethane foam for the furniture industry. Independent Furniture Supply has grown from a small company with just a hand full of employees to one of the largest foam fabricators in the United States with hundreds of employees and multiple facilities, both production and warehouse, throughout the Tupelo area.

Faith Haven is an emergency shelter for abused, abandoned, and/or neglected children. The shelter opened in May, 1977 and is located in Tupelo, MS. Faith Haven provides quality care in a home-like setting for children who need to be temporarily placed in a time of crisis.
Faith Haven is licensed to care for twelve children male and or female, ages 0-18, with a maximum stay of 45 days. Although the number of children being served at one time may seem small, it should be noted that there is a constant turnover of children in need of emergency help. Children can be admitted to Faith Haven any time of the day or night. While placed at Faith haven, the physical, emotional and mental health needs of the children are met. Faith Haven provides support through the giving of needed love, guidance and safety. The children served by our program must be in the protective custody of Mississippi Child Protection Services.
